Since the sun's energy can be converted into many other forms of energy, it has a wide range of applications.
    There are two main methods of solar power generation. One is to convert solar energy into thermal energy. Electricity is then generated in a conventional manner, known as solar thermal power. The other is to directly convert solar energy into electrical energy through photovoltaic devices using the principle of photovoltaics, which is called solar photovoltaic power generation.
    The solar photovoltaic power generation system is a power generation system that directly converts solar radiation energy into electrical energy using solar cells made on the principle of photovoltaic effect.     System composition: The solar photovoltaic power generation system is mainly composed of photovoltaic cell components, photovoltaic system battery controller, storage battery and AC/DC inverter, and the core component is photovoltaic cell components.
Photovoltaic cell module: converts the sun's light energy into electricity.
    AC/DC Inverter: A device used to convert direct current to alternating current. In addition, the inverter also has an automatic voltage regulation function, which can improve the power supply quality of the photovoltaic power generation system.
Storage battery: used to store the electricity converted from photovoltaic cells and release it for use at any time as needed.
    Charge and discharge controller: It is a device that automatically prevents the overcharge and overdischarge of the energy storage battery pack of the solar photovoltaic power system. It is one of the core components of the photovoltaic power generation system.
The advantages of photovoltaic power generation are reflected in the following aspects:
    (1) Solar energy resources are inexhaustible and inexhaustible. The amount of solar energy hitting the earth is 6,000 times greater than the energy consumed by humans.
    (2) Green and environmental protection. Photovoltaic power generation itself does not require fuel, no carbon dioxide emissions, no air pollution, and no noise.
    (3) Wide range of applications. Photovoltaic systems can be used wherever there is light.
    (4) Long service life, simple maintenance and high reliability. Crystalline silicon solar cells have a lifespan of 20-35 years; since there are no mechanical rotating parts, operation Simple maintenance, high reliability, and the use of automatic control technology, basically no manual operation.
    (5) The solar cell module has a simple structure, small size and light weight, which is convenient for transportation and installation, and the construction period of the photovoltaic power generation system is short.
    (6) The system combination is easy. Several solar cell components and battery cells are combined to form the solar cell array and battery pack of the system; inverters and controllers can also be integrated. Therefore, the photovoltaic power generation system can be large or small, and it is easy to combine and expand.
